About Andy D’Andrea
Andy D’Andrea, P. Eng., is a dedicated professional engineer with over three decades of experience, primarily in Canada’s nuclear energy sector. Born and raised in Canada, Andy earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, later enhancing his expertise with a Building Science Practice Certificate from the same institution. His distinguished career includes roles at Ontario Power Generation, where he focused on reactor safety, nuclear waste management, and was instrumental in key safety assessments critical to Canada’s nuclear operations.




Community and Family
A proud Etobicoke North resident, Andy is deeply rooted in the community where he and his spouse are raising their four children. His local involvement includes volunteering as a soccer coach with Etobicoke Youth Soccer and Rexdale Soccer League, as well as serving on the building maintenance committee at St. Benedict’s Church. Andy believes strongly in family, community service, and balanced living, exemplified by his passion for outdoor activities like cycling, hiking, snowboarding, and camping.
